Real Tears

tears

When life so delivers those glancing blows

we will hide our feelings everyone knows.

For a flower to rise in morning sun

love must exist in balance. Everyone

involved can watch its sheer beauty blossom,

grasping life in rich sands that beckon some,

while around spring showers become heavy

the tears are nourishment; Nature’s levy

exists, shadows the elegance of time.

Seek truth forsaken quiet fears sublime.

We grow as leaves on trees that when summer

airs decide, their fruits soft taps the drummer

whose rhythm and human capacity

whisper truths in light of life’s tragedy
