Rains of Love and Dance

When first we did believe our love was true

Danced all night, until morning sky is blue

The checkered floor sing arching sound to grooves

while eyes around would now become our moves.

I remember sweating through ratty thread

while you looked wonderful to me instead.

The night began when I said hello while

your friend met mine and four of us beguile

sought wanton desire in the midnight hour.

Ah, wield the key inside your marble tower

for my smitten eyes wish to trace your walls.

Soon bar time hallows out the night’s last calls.

Step outside together cleansed by water

Sweet rains tonight bathe our souls forever

I would love your commentary
