Walk naked and let the water touch me

then my heart understand pleasure’s plea.

Too often the shudders clasp while outside

the skies do rumble within Earth’s free ride.

Body be cleansed, a natural baptism

overwhelming tears, His mechanism

for teaching ourselves true humility.

Searching for clues, short-sighted sanity.

We cannot imagine being above

soft tone coos of Nature’s sweet morning dove.

Yet, to listen to the showers is peace

in a world where often we daily cease

such notions of spiritual delight,

God’s sweet feathered caress of rain tonight
