Whom Wants Who

There is love,

that simple word

talked about on many levels

friendships, roles; how very absurd

to imagine such a term to draw our lives upon.

Remember when we said

I love you, and the forests became

a green lush responsive bastion of delight

streaking sun streams and sudden blossom.

We knew then a reason to share

a desire

a passion

any aspect of quiet concern

became

our own result of eyes …

Visualize if you will

two people together

searching inside one another’s world

windows to our soul,

I love you, moments

become our balance in need.

Whom wants who when we wander

and find one another

together, delightful interludes.

A friend we know

a brother, a sister, a family interaction

when all of our worlds realize we share

similar paths, simple pleasures, symbolic measures

We do know love.

I would love your commentary
