Edgar Degas After the Bath, Woman Drying Herself c. 1890-5

That feeling

waking in soft sunlight

eyes gradually unravel

a fog of surreal memory

when aware your body comes alive

the mind suddenly recalls …

Last Night!

mmm, roll back inside the soft velvet

languorous caressing fabric

letting skin come to light.

Shall I touch

to enhance that sweet travel,

or just let my eyes focus

while the thrill of the morning’s

afterthought

sends ‘that’ chakra into a waking state;

I might almost taste her climax.

    A splendid thought (poem) to wake up to.
